Transforming Patient Care Through Direct Primary Care
At Emerald Coast Direct Primary Care, we’re on a mission to transform the way healthcare is delivered. Our approach is simple yet revolutionary: we put our members first, offering personalized treatment plans that prioritize your health needs over the constraints of insurance companies. Our membership model ensures you receive ample one-on-one time with your provider, fostering a proactive and preventative approach to healthcare. This model allows us to focus on comprehensive wellness and preventive care, ensuring that you have the support you need to lead a healthier life.
Our Commitment to Excellence
Our practice is built on the foundation of commitment, care, and community. We are dedicated to providing our members with the highest quality of care, emphasizing the importance of a personal connection between provider and patient. This commitment extends beyond the walls of our clinic, as we strive to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve on the Emerald Coast.
Introducing Troy Marcus, PA-C - A Visionary in Patient Care
Troy Marcus, our founder and lead provider, brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for patient care to Emerald Coast Direct Primary Care. As a Certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Troy has developed a keen ability to address a wide range of medical needs, from critical care to minor illnesses and injuries. His extensive background, combining primary care training with emergency medicine expertise, equips him to offer comprehensive care to our diverse patient population.
Before joining the medical profession as a PA, Troy dedicated eight years to serving as a Paramedic, further enriching his understanding of patient care in acute settings. His journey through various ERs in Tennessee and Florida has been driven by a singular goal: to provide compassionate, competent care to every patient he encounters.
Building a Wellness Community
Troy’s vision for Emerald Coast Direct Primary Care is to create more than just a clinic; he aims to build a wellness community where patients feel supported in both illness and health. His approach is centered on building lasting relationships with patients, offering them a trusted partner in their health journey.
A Family Man and Community Member
Troy’s commitment to care extends to his personal life, where he enjoys a fulfilling family life with Kasey, his wife of 17 years, and their three children. Having moved from Tennessee six years ago, the Marcus family has embraced the beauty and community of the Emerald Coast. Active members of the Coastline Navarre church, they are deeply involved in their local community. When he’s not caring for patients, Troy can be found enjoying the great outdoors, whether it’s boating, fishing, or practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
